Product Description
What is a multi axle modular trailer?
A modular trailer is a hydraulic multi axle trailer, also called a hydraulic platform trailer.
Modular trailer is a specialized vehicle used to transport large and extra-long cargoes that are difficult to disassemble, such as steel structures, generators, transformers, gas turbines, steam turbines, windmill components (wind blades, wind towers and wind nacelles), and oil vessels. Hydraulic multi axle modular trailers are widely used in construction, engineering, oil refineries, power stations, chemical industry, steel industry and building industry.

Features of hydraulic modular trailers:
1. High performance welded steel is used to manufacture the main frame, longitudinal beam and bogie, durable and high safety factor.
2. Hydraulic cylinder suspension to adapt to uneven road conditions, lift cylinders make the trailer automatically respond to poor road conditions.
When the road is not level in the lateral direction, the axle will swing to compensate.
If the road is uneven in the direction of travel, the hydraulic lift system adjusts the modular support system.
The modular trailer can have a 3 or 4 point support system to ensure that each support point is subjected to an even load.
The vehicle loading platform of the modular trailer is balanced and well damped when transporting cargo over bumpy or rough roads.
The multi axle trailer's support kit allows for three or four support points to ensure that the load is evenly distributed at each point.
3. The hydraulic trailer’s steering system, by adjusting the hydraulic steering system and using different rational pit layouts, the vehicle can achieve minimum turning diameter and normal driving. Hydraulic pressure is transmitted from the power pack to the steering and lifting jacks, which drive the steering tie rods, which are connected to the suspension and then achieve the steering of the entire trailer
4. The power pack provides hydraulic pressure for steering and lifting.
5. The hydraulic modular trailer can be connected to the tow bar as a full trailer and to the hydraulic gooseneck as a semi trailer to suit different applications.
When a modular trailer is connected to a gooseneck and turned into a semi trailer, the weight can be better distributed and therefore a larger load transport weight can be achieved.
When the tractor truck steers, the hydraulic gooseneck will transmit the signal to turn the axle at the same time. Also the hydraulic gooseneck has a lifting function to adapt to the height of the cargo platform.
6. The advantage of modular trailers is that modular trailers can be linked together to allow the fleet to move the related cargo.
Each hydraulic modular trailer module can be connected end-to-end (longitudinal combination) and side-to-side (longitudinal combination) to perform a variety of difficult and huge transport jobs that cannot be done with mechanical suspension trailers (conventional).
BAPUTI Modular trailers help your heavy haulage transportation:
Due to the continuous demand for trailers in the heavy haulage business, BAPUTI can offer a large number of advanced hydraulic modular trailers specifically designed for the heavy haulage of oversized cargo.
The hydraulic modular trailer are very flexible, able to adapt to any overweight load and can be used in any field of application, whether on normal roads or on restricted and uneven sites.
BAPUTI has different types of multi axle modular trailers: 2, 3, 4,5, 6, 8 axle lines, which can be combined in any way.
The choice of each set of axle lines depends firstly on the weight of the goods to be transported and secondly on the road conditions through which the fleet is to pass.
Each axle line can carry a maximum load of up to 40 tons. A higher number of axle lines means a modular trailer with a higher loading capacity.
The hydraulic platform trailer is becoming more and more popular worldwide because it allows to distribute the concentrated weight on each wheel by means of a hydraulic system, it allows to keep the trailer and the cargo level when driving on uneven roads and, at the same time, it protects the road from damage caused by overloaded trailers.
